Shwedagon Pagoda, Yangon

Inle Lake
This vast freshwater lake in Shan State is a perfect location for a leisure retreat. Plus, the surrounding area is the home to 70,000 people of many different ethnic groups. After kayaking or taking a boat ride, you can also visit several other destinations nearby as well.
The temples of Bagan
Some say it equals the temples of Angkor. Maybe, but in a different way. 2,200 temples of Bagan are too massive, but the sheer number of them scattered around a deserted plain is something that is unrivaled.
