Phan Thiet is a beautiful coastal province in Central
Vietnam, just a short drive from Ho Chi Minh City will take you there. But don’t
just think about Phan Thiet as a destination solely for a swimming spot from Ho
Chi Minh City, there’re lots of other things to do here.
1. Sand dunes in Mui Ne
The sand dunes in Mui Ne are a unique attraction. Also known
as Vietnamese safari, this large area is a heaven for photographers and sport enthusiasts.
You cannot say you’ve ‘been to Mui Ne unless you have wandered along the sand
dunes here.
2. Ke Ga Lighthouse
The imposing lighthouse in Ke Ga Island has enlightened boats
and ships for more than one decade now. It is almost in the middle of nowhere,
amidst pristine beach and clear blue water. There are also many luxury resorts in
the nearby area.
3. Bai Rang Beach
Bai Rang is widely
considered as the most beautiful beach in Phan Thiet. The glorious stretch of
white sand is fringed coconut trees. In the afternoon, get immersed into the
feast of local seafood by the ocean.
4. Cham Tower Pagoda
Along with My Son
and Nha Trang, Phan Thiet is a place to be if you want to discover the
remaining ruins of Champa Kingdom which used to rule the central coastal area
of Vietnam. Although the tower pagoda here is not as tall and big as those in
My Son and Nha Trang, this is still one of the most precious legacies that we
get to keep right now with so many sophisticated carvings on the walls of the
pagodas.
5. Co Thach Stone Bank
Being a part of the
long beach in Binh Thanh Commune, the seven-color stone bank consists of many
stones with different size and colors. It is arguably the most beautiful stone
bank in Vietnam and captivates the imagination of thousands of photographers
who coming here every year wishing for a stunning picture.
